Thought

While reading articles about what other types think of INFPs, I realized something that seemed absolutely crazy from my point of view: Not everyone values authenticity as much as we, INFPs.

This makes no sense in my idealist mind. To me, an ideal world is one where everyone would speak the truth no matter what, and be authentic and real.

I have often let go opportunities because I did not feel they were 100% in sync with my inner values. I have stayed away from networking and making contacts for the longest time, because I felt like it was not honest to maintain relationships with people I didn’t consider true friends.

But now I realize that most people prefer a pleasant white lie to a harsh but honest truth.
