Here are 3 simple exercises you can do almost anywhere, anytime, and that will help you feel more peaceful and focused:

1. Take 3 deep breaths and focus on the sensations in your body while you do it. Nothing else.

2. When walking, standing or sitting, notice the sensations in your feet. The weight of your body on each part of the sole of your feet. When walking, think of the effect of gravity with each step, and the parts of your feet touching the ground.

3. When you talk, try to notice and avoid using filler words such as “hum, uh, well, like, …” this will concentrate your thoughts on the core of your message.
